Who
are we? We
are a nominated body of your Wesleyan Reform Union representatives,
which meets several times a year to discuss any current trends
in national life. What
do we do? We
seek to be active on social and ethical issues. The group seeks to give
a Christian voice and loving support where it is needed. We receive
input from various sources such as Care for the Family and Prison
Fellowship to name just two. Many groups do excellent work and we would
like to continue to support these in prayer as well as in giving. We are hoping to put information together on the Probation Service and the essential services. On a rotational basis, the Christian Ethics and Social Action Committee also suggest speakers for the Wesleyan Reform Union Conference. We would always encourage you,
our readers to give voice to your Christian values by writing to your
Members of Parliament, local newspapers or magazines when needing to
highlight your views. Please contact us through the addresses
supplied in the Wesleyan Reform Union yearbook. |
